Pan-Asian, reimagined
KOI sits on Marbella's Golden Mile, in a room rebuilt around a central skylight, with planting throughout and a waterfall you can hear from the counter. Japanese, Thai and Chinese cooking share one kitchen here, and one set of standards.
Two chefs, one menu
Executive Chef Stan runs the kitchen with Neil Witney, a consulting chef who came up through Michelin kitchens. Sushi at one end of the menu, lamb rendang at the other, and both of them have to be happy with everything in between.
Finished at the table
The wagyu uramaki is glazed with anticucho sauce at your table, and the beef is finished the same way. A few dishes earn that. The rest are better off arriving quietly.
Sake in the glass
Our head barman built the list around sake-infused cocktails and Asian twists on the classics: drinks made to sit next to chilli and raw fish, not to fight them.
